Description

Artist Statement:

Toppled in a windstorm, the fallen panicle of a Tall White Aster becomes entangled in long grasses. On softer winds, a Clouded Sulphur butterfly floats down to enjoy the nectar.  I am fascinated by how the lives of wildflowers and pollinators are intertwined throughout the seasons and stages of life. My nature studies pay homage to the pollinating insects I see in my garden and in the fields around my studio.
